For 2016 and subsequent tax years. a non-refundable tax credit designed to help homeowners cover the costs of renovations that make their home more accessible and safer (that improves accessibility or reduces the risk of injury in an eligible dwelling). You can claim a non-refundable tax credit for eligible expenses incurred for work performed or goods acquired for a qualifying renovation of an eligible dwelling of a qualifying individual.
