We wanted to take a moment to update our community regarding the status of our quarterly newsletter. Due to the rapid growth of our programs and the departure of our Programs Assistant last year, we are facing both a staffing shortage and a gap in funding needed to fill that role. As a result, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to cancel, at minimum, the autumn and winter editions of the newsletter.
This decision was made in light of our growing organizational needs. Our team has had to refocus its attention on supporting our expanding programs, strengthening fundraising efforts, and managing the day-to-day operations of our organization. These priorities are essential to ensure that we continue to deliver the services and impact that are core to our mission.
While the newsletter will be on hold for the rest of this year, we remain hopeful that we will be in a better position to resume regular newsletters by the spring of next year. We know how much our community values the insights, resources, and stories shared in our newsletter, and we hope to bring it back as soon as possible.
